Spring Trailblazers Weekend

A unique weekend experience providing opportunities for high school students from all over Kansas to learn skills in the expanded core curriculum. Twice a year, the KSSB campus is open to high school students from around the state to provide opportunities to learn skills in the expanded core curriculum. This is a very popular event and students look forward to attending in order to see old friends, meet new ones while developing and practicing a variety of skills.   • June 5-6, 2024 in the Wichita Area (3rd – 8th Grade)
  • June 11-12, 2024 in the Hutchison Area (3rd – 8th Grade)
  • June 13-14, 2024 in the Dodge City Area (6th – 12th Grade)
  • June 18-19, 2024 in the Hays Area (6th – 12th Grade)

KC Blind All Stars 5K Run 1 Mile Walk

The Kansas City Blind All Stars Foundation sponsors an annual 5K Run/1 Mile Walk. The event raises funds to support activities and facilities at the Kansas State School for the Blind. KCBAS is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization. To learn more, click the link below.
