Life of a COMS or Itinerant TSVI
Whether you are a Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS) or Itinerant Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments (TSVI) you are always on the go! Often teachers will find themselves eating lunch in the car between schools or districts. They even may take a few minutes in a parking lot to write a report, catch up on emails, do some research, etc. Any COMS or TSVI can relate to this life style! It is fast moving and you are always on the go consulting with teams, teaching students, observing students, creating documents, and assessing. KSSB’s field service team is no exception to this!
Leah Enright is a ROAD WARRIOR! In between schools and districts she find a place to park her car, do some work on her laptop and maybe eat some lunch!
Anna Cyr sits in her car munching on her healthy lunch before she moves onto the next student!
Sabrina McAdoo takes a moment to get some work done before going to work with the next family with an infant/toddler!
