Preschool Open House

Event Description

The goal of this program is to increase concepts and skills through intentional instruction and experienced-based learning in a safe, nurturing environment. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

OUR GOAL: To provide enrichment opportunities for children ages 2 to 5 who are blind or visually impaired.
OUR FOCUS: To emphasize Expanded Core Curriculum (ECC) domains which are unique to students with a visual impairment. These include age-appropriate braille readiness, communication, orientation and mobility readiness, social skills, independent living skills, technology, sensory efficiency skills, self-determination, and much more!

The program meets three hours each day, from 8:45 am – 11:45 am
Schedule follows KSSB academic calendar, August through May
Transportation is provided by parents
Program is offered at no-cost to families
