Calling Early Childhood Educators!  A learning community of enhanced collaborative and individual support of Kindergarten Readiness is beginning October 8. Learning community content will be driven by KESA state board outcomes as outlined by KSDE/KSBE. Focused topics will include KSDE Early Childhood Program updates, but also will be driven by educators, as we strive to administer and interpret ASQ-3 and ASQ: SE-2 students’ data, consider state and federal grant applications, connect with Parents as Teachers’ programs, and strategize ways to engage our families and communities as partners in education. Importantly, networking and collaborating with fellow early childhood educators will be emphasized. Our learning communities will plan to meet three times (second Friday of the month) with college credit available for participants attending 3/3 learning communities.

  • Participants will gain knowledge of KSDE Early Childhood program updates and other state-wide initiatives.
  • Participants will engage in curriculum development, content, and strategies to more effectively teach young children
  • Participants will collaborate and share resources.

REGISTRATION FEES: NO CHARGE
COLLEGE CREDIT: Optional 0.5 graduate-level credit available from MNU for $45 at conclusion of all sessions. Requires attendance at all 3 sessions plus assignment completion.
CANCELLATION:
Events with less than 5 registrants are subject to cancellation one week prior to event date.
